Appleseed wasn't one of my favorites, but it deserves a decent score for the quality of the animation. Otherwise, nothing too original or unique; retreads territory already charted by Akira and Evangelion.

The animation was superb, the screenplay was alright, but the story faded and the last five minutes or so wouldn't have been neccessary at all.
