Absolutely amazing anime, and one of the few I'd recommend watching twice through, because the 2nd time through gives you a totally different perspective on certain things and is still awesome.

RahXephon is one of the classier Evangelion-esque productions. Since its release, Neon Genesis Evangelion has spawned dozens of immitators, some good and some bad. This one is simply one of the best.

i loved evangelion, but the whole thing that made me dissapointed about it was the fact that shinji was a pussy and never pursued his heart.
rahxephon has all the same aspects as evangelion
but theres a good love story thrown into it
it makes for a great anime
i would recomend it to anyone
