hm, it's sort of pleasantly innocent and cute, but I didn't really like it, there is just something fundamentally unsatisfying in this one. perhaps it's just a bit too plain.

This series starts out deceivingly sweet and magical girl like, but turns into something much deeper and moving in its second half.

Do not judge a series by its name!! I almost did, and I would have missed out on one of the most beautiful (and tragic) shows out there. I strongly recommend it to shoujo and european fairytale fans, as well as any fans of classical music and ballet.
