This is a classic, must see, for all samurai fans. The OVAs to this anime give alot more character development, and I suggest watching them if you do watch the anime.

I agree with NobodyQueen. The OVAs explaining alot that the regular series did not. The series is awesome, however more romance then I could bare at times.

This is the first anime I ever watched and in my opinion one of the best.

This is simply a classic. Although the animation and colouring may not be up to date with the current animes circulating around it is still one of the best animes I ever watched and I have to say that it was a story that mixed in what it gave. Romance scenes, Action and Comedy in a well flowing coherent storyline.
